I have a Black-Walnut tree in my yard,and last summer I noticed a smell.It’s like the tree is rotten.?
The smell is only during the warmer months,and started last year.The tree is over 39yrs.old.It still blooms,and put out blk.walnuts.??????????
Walnut trees smell. Historically the smell was used as an antidote.
As long as it keeps producing walnuts, I don’t think it’s rotting.
