Can a Pampered Chef consultant sell products from a stationary storefront?
No. The Pampered Chef is a direct sales company, and is an active member of the Direct Selling Association. The definition, as given on the DSA website (www.dsa.org) is: “…the sale of a consumer product or service, person-to-person, away from a fixed retail location.”
You can, however, hold Cooking Shows in your own home or other location on a regular basis, rather than going into the host’s home. I know some consultants that are not able to drive, cannot lift the things into their cars, or have other limitations. They simply offer their own home as the gathering place for their hosts and guests.
